Customer Question: "You have my attention with this model in the color shown in the picture with the electrical conduit and loft, no extra windows or doors just the rollup door and I would also need a ramp. I am just a little concerned about the flooring with the weight of a riding mower and if the doorway would be wide enough."
Leonard: Our sheds are built using its famous Notched Skid Floor System™
Strong pressure treated 4"x6" skids are notched so that the 2”x6” pressure treated joists are wedged tightly before securing. Beams have bracing blocks and are fastened to skids using large ring-shanked nails. The joists are covered using a high grade 3/4" engineered wood product underlayment suitable for carpet, vinyl, or other finished flooring options. Some of our more popular units also feature a painted floor and kick-plate around the interior base. *Economy units have a 5/8 plywood flooring and smaller units have 2"x4" pressure treated joists.
